No! If you have paid for a membership, group classes are no extra cost to join.
I know it can be scary to join something you can’t see first, so here’s a 10-minute recording from a class in 2025.
It should give you a basic idea of what the class is like.
It doesn’t matter!
We will miss you, but most classes don’t have a student limit, so even if you sign up and can’t join, don’t worry. You don’t have to let us know.
Although the topics of the classes will change, the format will always be similar.
Here’s the structure:
- Casual chat & opening discussion
- 1st break-out room activity (in groups of 2-4)
- Review the answers as a class
- 2nd break-out room activity
- Open Questions
There’s a good mixture of conversation and learning new things!
If you want to join our group classes, you have to use Zoom.
If you haven’t used it before, it can look confusing, but don’t worry!
Of course not!
You will never be pressured to talk or turn on your camera.
If it’s your first lesson and you prefer to watch, just send the teacher a message in Zoom saying you just want to listen.
Using your camera is optional, but many students like to turn it on.
We never record classes unless we have everyone’s permission.
When we see the ‘recording’ icon, it can make us feel less confident to speak openly. For that reason, all classes are kept private and not recorded.
